Paul Davidson, chairman

For 25 years, Paul Davidson was the executive director at the Black Bear Conservation Coalition. He received a bachelor’s degree in zoology from Southeastern Louisiana University and did postgraduate work at LSU. Before entering into private business, he worked as a research associate at LSU for several years. During that period, Paul was active in conservation advocacy roles and served in leadership positions in several conservation organizations, including the Louisiana Wildlife Federation and the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana. He has served on several commissions and task forces under three Louisiana governors, as well as on state and federal agencies. In his community, he serves on the East Feliciana Chamber of Commerce and on the parish’s Tourist Commission.
