Robin Keegan, vice chairwoman

Robin Keegan, a native of New Orleans, is the owner and principal of Spring Industries LLC, a platform for community-building solutions rooted in principles of sustainability. She is an expert in disaster recovery, resilience planning, affordable housing and community economic development. She consults as a subject matter expert on clients including the Virgin Islands for implementation of $1.86 billion in Community Development Block Grant funding following devastation from Hurricanes Irma and Maria; the state of Louisiana’s $1.2 billion Watershed Initiative; and the state of California’s $240 million recovery from wildfires in 2017. Robin also serves as a visiting assistant professor in Tulane University’s in the School of Architecture and a fellow in the School of Social Work. She is the former executive director of the Louisiana Recovery Authority. She also directed Resilient Baton Rouge, a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation-funded public health initiative that worked to increase capacity of behavioral health services to support residents affected by the flood of 2016. She has a master’s in urban planning from Columbia University and a bachelor’s in religious studies from Macalester College.
