Created in 1995, our Coastal Stewardship Awards Program recognizes individuals and groups who have made significant contributions to the preservation and restoration of Louisiana’s coastal wetlands. It is the highest award CRCL can give to honor those who show an extraordinary commitment to our coast.
Our 2012 winners fall into three categories:

Susan Testroet-Bergeron – Environmental Education Commission Officer, CWPPRA Public Outreach Coordinator
Marnie Winter – Director, Jefferson Parish Environmental Affairs
Gay B. Browning – Lead Program Analyst, CWPPRA
Mindy Brooks – 4-H Extension Associate, LSU AgCenter
Chris Macaluso –Coastal Outreach Coordinator, Louisiana Wildlife Federation
Friend of the Coalition Awards:
Rainey Conservation Alliance
John Morello – Managing Architect, Microsoft
The awards banquet on Friday, April 13, 2012 will be a special night to celebrate the many rewards our coast provides to us, as well as those who go to great lengths to protect and restore our wetlands for the future.
