Mark your calendars! Shell-A-Bration returns to Audubon Zoo on March 18, 2027, for another unforgettable evening celebrating Louisiana’s oysters, coastal culture and the power of giving back.
Picture an evening surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Louisiana Swamp Exhibit, filled with fresh Gulf oysters, delicious local cuisine, live music and a community that cares about our coast.
We’re keeping a few surprises under wraps, but one thing is certain: You won’t want to miss it.

Shell-A-Bration isn’t just a celebration of Louisiana’s favorite bivalve. It’s a celebration of what we can accomplish together.
Proceeds support the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana’s Oyster Shell Recycling Program, which transforms discarded oyster shells into living shorelines that help reduce erosion, create habitat and support coastal ecosystems.
Since 2014, CRCL has recycled more than 18 million pounds of oyster shells and helped create over 8,500 feet of living shoreline.
