Southwest Louisiana Coastal Summit

SAVE THE DATE!

The Southwest Louisiana Coastal Summit will take place October 27, 2026, at L’Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles.

This one-day event will exchange timely and relevant information on the dynamic conditions of southwest Louisiana’s communities, environment and economy for the purpose of applying that information to existing and future coastal restoration and protection efforts, policies and decision-making.

Attendees can expect plenary sessions and concurrent sessions of panel discussions, presentations and workshops. Scientists, policymakers, planners, business interests, educators and private residents concerned with the future of southwest Louisiana are all encouraged to attend.

The summit’s steering committee includes members representing diverse industries, organizations and interests. These members work together to shape the event’s theme, topics and sessions, ensuring the summit provides a valuable forum for informing the next generation of policies and projects that protect southwest Louisiana’s coast.
